WHY BADGERS?
Credibility
We are respected at all levels of baseball locally and nationally at the high school, collegiate and the professional ranks.
Contacts
Our organization has relationships with coaches from NCAA division l, ll, lll, NJCAA colleges and Major League general managers, scouts and agents.
Track Record
Our track record speaks for itself. We have placed over 180+ players on college rosters and sent 8 to the professional ranks since 2012.
Legitimate Major League and Minor League Instruction
We are the only program in the Mid-Atlantic that provides consistent instruction from current and former Major League and Minor League players and coaches. We routinely have MLB players come to Winter workouts, practices and on our day-to-day coaching staff.
Team Practice
We practice as a team between games and tournaments. You cannot improve as a team if you do not practice as a team. Our practices focus on reinforcing the fundamentals, introducing new skills and drills to improve your game and always learning the game within the game and improving your general baseball IQ. Practice is the most important part of player development!
Great Facilities
We have three facilities in MD. Our players get to utilize them during Winter workouts and in season when the weather is bad, and we need to move practice indoors to get our bullpens and batting practice in.
Partnerships
We have incredible partnerships. Our medical partnerships take care of our players, provide in season and off-season screenings and fast track services for our Badger teams.
Challenging Schedule
The only way to improve is to challenge the individual player and the team and play competitive schedules. We play locally and throughout the Mid-Atlantic at some of the best tournaments and showcases around.
Respect and Accountability
We treat our players and families with respect and hold the players accountable for their attitude and performance every day.
Full Time
We have a full-time staff to handle all communication with players, families, coaches, tournament directors and umpires. This is not a hobby or part time thing for us. We are full time and fully committed to all aspects of player development at all ages.

FAQ
Does the Badgers season interfere with the high school season?
No. We run Winter workouts in January and February to prepare them for their high school tryouts/seasons. Once their high school seasons begin their main obligation is to their high school team until their season is over. We pick back up with practices and scrimmages at the end of May and begin tournaments/showcases in June.
Do the Badgers practice during the week?
Yes. We hold two practices per week between tournaments/showcases. We believe the only way to develop players is to get on the field, practice and work on things.
How do I tryout?
We host tryouts several times throughout the year for our Spring, Summer and Fall teams. Check the website frequently for dates and locations. If you would like to set up a private tryout or cannot make the tryout date you can email [email protected] or fill out a player questionnaire here Badgers Players Questionnaire
What do the fees cover?
The fees cover indoor Winter workouts, all tournament fees, all practice field fees, weekly practices, indoor facility use in and out of season, professional coaching, equipment, insurance and administrative work. Fees vary from team to team based on the number of tournaments/showcases, level of tournaments/showcases and costs of each event. Events tend to get more expensive as players get older.
Are deposits refundable?
No. Once you send in your deposit that is your commitment to playing with the Badgers. We use the deposit money to start paying tournament deposits, uniforms and other up-front costs associated with running a team. If you pay a deposit and choose to play for another program or quit, you will not receive a refund on your deposit. Make sure this is the program for you and your family BEFORE you commit.
How is college recruiting handled?
The tournaments/showcases are heavily attended by college coaches which allows for recruiting opportunities every weekend. We have hundreds of collegiate and professional contacts that we have long standing relationships with. Once a player has proven they can play at the collegiate level we will reach out to coaches and be their biggest supporters. We do not charge a recruiting fee.
What is the policy on playing time?
We believe that the only way to truly develop players is to not only provide them with great instruction, but also in game experience. We make it a point to get everyone in throughout the tournament/showcase, but the better players will play more than the weaker players. This rewards the more advanced players for their hard work and success and gives the less advanced players some motivation to continue to work hard and try to earn playing time.
What are the backgrounds/experience of the coaching staff?
All of our head coaches are former college, Minor League or Major League players and have extensive backgrounds in both coaching and private instruction. We have many roving instructors who help at practices throughout the year who are all former MLB players.
Do the Badgers players get to use the indoor facility?
Yes. We use the indoor facilities for Winter workouts, when outdoor practice gets canceled due to weather and we have several open facility hours per month for Badgers players to come in and workout at no additional fee.
What separates the Badgers from other programs?
We have former college and professional players as coaches, multiple indoor facilities to train at, practice between tournaments/games, medical partnerships to keep our players strong and healthy, over 180 players have been placed in college through our program, 8 in professional baseball, legitimate college and professional contacts, we are honest in our evaluations (Both good and bad) and all of our coaches are fully invested in the players and their families.
